small but perfectly formed
Thought these were splendid. A nice size and most meaty.
Brilliant for breakfast
Cooked these in the oven as part of a cooked breakfast. They browned beautifully and were juicy inside. My daughter ate three and said shed like us to get them again. Them being shorter and thicker made them better for breakfast. Really meaty. Definitely buying these again.
Really good bangers
The sausage meat is dense with very little fat. Not greasy like cheap sausages. Three of these make a meal portion. The skins are a little tough but nothing a decent steak knife can't handle. I like these a lot.
the nicest sausages online
Bought these as only it hi pork content sausages so at 97 percent these are one of the highest. They are very thick sausages so take a bit of cooking but they are the best tasting sausages I've had from ocado. I usually find the higher the pork content more bland the taste of the sausage but the are lovely. Casings a bit chewy on the ends if you don't give them an extra sizzle.
Good quality sausages
I usually get my sausages from my local butcher because I've never found any others from a supermarket any good, however these sausages were very nice. They are very meaty, quite a course texture. They had a nice subtle flavour, not over loaded with nutmeg or pepper which I find quite common with other top range sausages. I see others have mentioned about the skins being tough but I didn't find this at all, I cooked them in the pan on a low heat. I also liked the size being smaller but fatter than the the usual sausage. I would buy these again.
These were great sausages. Didn't notice the tough skins, but I cooked them in a hot pot with pasta, veggies and lots of boiling stock, so probably the fact they had good structural integrity was a huge bonus. Really tasty and satisfying cooked this way.
