Got these in a flash sale, £1.50 seemed fine for the grapes we got. Even on sale £2.25 seems ok, they are reasonable grapes. But not good enough for £3. No one will say, “please order those grapes from last week, they were so good”. Ok grapes, but certainly not memorable.
GRAPE POLICE HERE
It saddens me to leave this review, as a long standing lover of sable grapes... all I can say is that there is an intruder dressed as a sable grape, and in fact, IS NOT. Yes, they are still lovely and crunchy. But are in fact just your standard red grapes. I sure do hope that this intruder is caught and our treasured sable grapes make it home. Until then, I can no longer be involved with the lies and deceit.
not so fresh!
I ate on the second day of delivery but some were old! Overall I like this kind of grape but wish it can be fresher!
used to be awesome. not any more
Ive bought these for the past few months. And the small very round fruits have been amazingly good. Interesting flavour, lots of depth and complexity to the flavour. But suddenly they are no longer. The fruits look like the typical boring tasteless fruit sold simply as grapes, and unsurprisingly the taste is equally simply boring. I presume their precious source has all dried up. And now these substitutes (still in same Sable packaging) are simply overpriced and not Sables
Delicious flavourful grapes in friendly packaging
Sweet and delicate, perfectly ripe grapes and in a cardboard container rather then plastic. Why can's more fruit be packaged like this?
these have a deep flavour that reminds me of ribena. really delicious. great to see recyclable cardboard punnet. star knocked off as a great many grapes were loose and very easily became loose whilst washing them. this affects their fruit bowl life.
