I had a look at the ingredients of several Christmas Puddings and they are all almost identical with very slight variations to the nuts and booze, and presumably they are all made in the same factory. This pudding is excellent value and I simply add a splash of aramagnac brandy when serving. To be honest I prefer this to the more expensive ones ...... as the nuts are nicer in this one.
Look at the ingredients before you buy. Corn glucose-fructose syrup, palm oil .... No thanks
That good old traditional ingredient in all Christmas Puddings -- PALM OIL !! My grandma would be turning in her grave!
Soon finished off by 3 and a baby. Excellent value, and i have paid over double for puddings that were only half as good.
Normal tasty Christmas pud - will certainly buy again.
I tried one of these puddings when it was on half-price offer. Such an offer BEFORE Christmas should have set alarm bells ringing. It is far too sickly-sweet and the "vegetarian" credentials don't help - Xmas puds are supposed to have suet etc. I won't buy one again.
