Aberdeen Angus beef characteristically has a fine marbling of cream fat running through the meat, this results in succulent tender and richly flavoured beef. We have been working with a long established and dedicated group of Aberdeen Angus beef farmers selecting them for their high standards of animal husbandry, welfare and a commitment to sustainable farming.
roughly hewn in two lumps with a big lump of fat at one end this was never going to look good on the plate, however it's the taste that counts. unfortunately this disappointed here too.
Chewier than average and less than average flavour!
This steak was disappointing. Large and thick chunks of meat but so very sinewy and a lot of it inedible. I would have preferred a much smaller steak that was entirely edible. I am afraid I won't be buying it again even though it was reasonably priced
Pan fried this for 2 and a half minutes on each side in a little oil, salt & pepper. A knob of butter on top of the steak, and served with stir fried Brussels & brocolli. What a delicious dinner! The steak was full of flavour and tender as anything. I was so impressed. I have added to my basket for next week. Best steak I've had at home in years.
