Really enjoyed these - so much so I bought a second pack. The pastry is rich and crumbly, not at all soft and stodgy like others I've tried. Not sure why some reviewers call them 'hard', it's what short pastry is supposed to be. I like all the flavours, but especially the juniper one with the lid which is sweet and tart at the same time.
these are delicious
I buy these every year. The size is perfect for a little treat. Generally Im not a fan of mince pies as I find them too sickly but these are the exception. I particularly like the assorted toppings.
Found the pastry hard.Hazelnut topping to hard and heavy for such a small pie. Other flavours a bit lack lustre. Maybe ok in normal sized pie but really didnt like them. .
These are the best mince pies that I have EVER tried, the pastry is buttery and I find them perfectly sized because it allows you to eat one of each flavour without feeling guilty. My family loved all three varieties, but I have to say the almond topped pie is truly divine, very highly recommended.
I love these, theyre just the right size for a little treat and I love the idea of having different flavours.
expected more, didn't really taste like mince pies, just generic sweet pastries. not much filling, tried by lots of guests who were impressed by appearance but not much to say once tasted
