French Breakfast Radish is an attractive variety of Radish with an elongated shape and a deep pink skin that fades to white at the roots. French Breakfast Radish is so called because market porters in Paris used to eat radishes as a mid-morning snack with salt and butter. With a crisp, crunchy texture and a distinctive, peppery bite, French Breakfast Radish is a vibrant and colourful addition to any salad bowl. As an alternative, try slicing or dicing into slaws and stir fries or eating whole as a healthy snack with a little olive oil and salt.

NOT a bunch with leaves!
This has always been a large bunch of radishes with leaves attached which means they stay fresher and have no plastic packaging. Not any more despite the description. Now a little plastic bag of fewer radishes.
Tasty and good colour, lasted well too
Delicious radishes, quite a spicy batch! Im glad i read about eating the leaves, these are lovely in place of your ordinary salad. I cut them and placed in a glass with water, in the fridge.
Mild and crunchy
Mine were mild and crunchy. Very pleasant as a snack with the added bonus of lots of lovely stalks to add to my stir fry
Just like the picture
I can see that others have not been happy with the freshness but mine were perfect and I used the stalks stir fried with garlic and soy. The radishes were perfect and crisp and peppery.
Poor Excuse For Radish
Im sick of complaining to Ocado for rotten stuff sent to me. Perhaps they should improve on their quality control before things are sent out. These could ha e been lovely, if they weren't so all and wilty. The radish was in the soft side. They were definitely on their way out. I didn't even bother complaining.
