nice but a bit fatty
Nice , would have again although was a little bit fatty.
Really nice cut of lamb, tender and not too fatty. The glaze works well too.
These lamb steaks were a real surprise. I often find that leg steaks can be fatty or chewy, but these were beautifully tender. I cooked them for 4 minutes a side, and then basted with the reduced glaze as directed. Although the glaze gave off a strong smell of vinegar, once it had reduced in the pan for a few minutes it was delicious and perfect with the lamb. These are a bit pricey, but a lovely treat.
I dont normally like lamb as I find it too fatty but these are honestly delicious and so tender. The glaze is really nice too.
Two substantial tender leg steaks with a tasty glaze. Could not fault the quality of what we were supplied!
Delicious lamb steaks, glaze disappointing
As title, the lamb leg steaks were beautiful, tender and good cuts. The glaze produced a strong vinegary smoke which seemed to reduce down to a flavourless disappointment, though did serve to provide additional moisture.
