Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright pale straw-yellow; a fine, clear mousse with a very delicate perlage. Bouquet: Attractively intense, very fruity and aromatic, with hints of wisteria flowers and Rennet apples. Flavour: Very well-balanced and appealing, with the extremely delicate almond note that is typical of Prosecco.
In 1754, we find the word Prosecco in the book "Il roccolo Ditirambo", written by Aureliano Acanti. Up until the 1960s, Prosecco sparkling wine was generally rather sweet and barely distinguishable from the Asti wine produced in Piedmont. Since then, production techniques have improved, leading to the high-quality dry wines produced today.According to a 2008 New York Times report, Prosecco has sharply risen in popularity in markets outside Italy, with global sales growing by double-digit percentages since 1998.
Regional Information
The Prosecco DOC production area is located in northeast Italy, more precisely in the territories of 5 Veneto provinces (Treviso, Venice, Vicenza, Padua, Belluno) and 4 provinces in Friuli Venezia Giulia (Gorizia, Pordenone, Trieste and Udine), one of the most stunning areas in the Italian peninsula.

Vinification Details
The must, obtained by very soft pressing, undergoes an initial fermentation at a controlled temperature of 10 °C (50°F). The base wine is then transferred into pressurized stainless steel tanks where the wine is made sparkling using the traditional Charmat method.

Best in this price range

This is by far the best Prosecco in the under £10 price category. Unlike the other brands, the price doesnt go up in order for them to offer a discount in later weeks. It is consistent, no after taste and it doesnt give me indigestion like some of the other brands in this price range. I love it.

my absolute new favourite prosecco

As a prosecco drinker and thats the only alcoholic beverage I drink Im very fussy on prosecco but this is my absolute new favourite Great taste not too bitter or sweet , Great bubbles that last to the very end of the bottle and last in the glass too, last over night with a cork in, being a very fussy prosecco drinker this is brilliant and excellent value For money

Great if you can open it

10 of us couldn't open this and we ended up sawing off the cork and using a corkscrew!
