Origin: Salmon responsibly farmed in Scotland, UK
From Waitrose selected farms, where the salmon are farmed to the highest welfare standards with care for the environment.
Wish Id read more reviews before buying - this is tiny flakes of almost inedible salmon - exceedingly strong salty/fishy flavour unlike the normal smoked salmon slices, and the texture was gritty and slimy. I threw away half the packet I was having for lunch rather than force myself to finish it, because it was that bad. Avoid
This is a cheap alternative to the salmon which is in large pieces. The quality of the salmon is the usual good quality you would expect from Waitrose. The name salmon 'pieces' is misleading as they are more bits or small flakes. Would recommend.
