First time Id cooked with it.
Ive eaten chard when dining out but never cooked it at home, but thought Id try it in Flash sale. It kept for over a week in the fridge as I wasnt sure what to do with it. Decided on a BBC Good Food recipe for Moroccan Chard and Lamb,,, which I substituted with venison. Really enjoyed the chard, plus it tasted good uncooked. Recommend the chard and the recipe! Ill buy again at full price.
I chopped the stem and added to a stir fry, leaves were similar to spinach. Good quality
1st time trying it, loved it
Not always red...
... but always fresh and tasty.
Keeps fresh for a few days
Very nice with a bit of butter and some black pepper, just saute it for a few minutes, be aware that it wilts down a LOT! Wash very well before use or it can be a bit gritty, though not as bad as the Natoora ones.
Very fresh good quality product. Sauteed in garlic and a bit of oil. Was delicious.
