Welner Wines was established in 1990 by Shimshon Welner, the founder and first General Manager of the Golan Heights Winery. It was the first winery to bring high quality Israeli wine to the international market. Shimshon left the Golan Heights Winery to create Welner Wines as a family business. The wines they produce are considered to be some of the best values available by both wine critics and by their loyal customers.
