History
The Primitivo (from the Latin “early ripening”) grape was named by a Puglian monk who noticed it was consistently the first to ripen in his vineyard. Known outside Italy as Zinfandel, Primitivo makes bold, rustic and deliciously jammy red wines, and our beautiful Primitivo is no exception.

Vinification Details
Deep, fruity sensation on the palate. The taste is soft and fresh, but robust, with notes of red fruit, plums, chocolate and vanilla. The finish is long and persistent, with soft tannins.

Perfectly formed Primitivo

A tasty red, in a can? I actually tried this on a plane first and chuffed to find it at Ocado too. Nice ripe fruit, silky texture. No need to open a whole bottle for a mid-week treat!

This wine definitely punches above it's weight and perfect as a single glass sized, mid-week treat!

Very lovely red in the can

Very lovely black fruit on the nose and elegant taste. Quality exceeds expectation of the wine in the can. Tried one can in cold and it is surprisingly good. Bought other cans as well. Will buy again

Lovely sophisticated Primitivo

Surprised at the depth and sophistication of this Primitivo, especially given that it's from a can. Gorgeous chocolately finish
