Tasting Notes
Whispering Angel Rosé and it is sensational. The Haunting, canteloupe-tinged aroma, sikly texture and bracingly dry finish mark this as a stunningly balanced vintage
History
The origins of Château d'Esclans can be traced back to the times of the Gauls and today the maison produces some of the world's best-loved Provence AOC rosé wines.
Regional Information
Whispering Angel is made from grapes sourced from amongst the most choice vineyards in the vicinity of the Esclans Valley and nearby in the Cotes de Provence region. These grapes come from 10 to 12-year-old vines, situated in clay and gravel soils at a lower elevation in the vineyards.
Current Vintage
2023
Vinification Details
The grapes are de-stemmed and lightly crushed at a low temperature to avoid oxidation. Stainless-steel vinification helps to preserve the wine's fruitiness, while bâtonnage - the process of stirring up the lees - adds body.

So overrated
Its a decent rose but its become some kind of beacon for people to order to fit in. Honestly nothing special. Id go for Lady A instead if you want a treat but theres better out there at this price point.

very nice chilled!
An expensive wine, we bought it on offer at £17 for a special occasion as we wouldnt normally spend this, so it was a lovely treat.
