Gave away on local app. Lovely colour of bottle drew me in. One of my favourite flavours but this is terrible!

My favourite gin

There are lots of really good gins out there with really nice flavours but this will always be my favourite. I prefer tart flavours to sweet drinks .

Deliciously summery!

An excellent gin by Whitley Neill- my favourite by far! Refreshing with a delicate flavour, delightful with fever tree tonic, ice and a slice!

This is OK I guess, but it’s pretty sweet and not very distinctive...I think I expected a ‘gooseberry gin’ to taste a bit more sour / tart and...well...of gooseberries.

A bit too sweet for my taste

I really wanted to like this gin as Whitley Neil is of a good standard and competitively priced. Unfortunately i found it too sweet for my taste. I was expecting more tartness but instead it was a little syrupy. I am a big fan of Slingsby gooseberry gin but it is expensive so I was hoping the Whitley Neil would compare favourably. If you like a sweeter tasting flavoured gin then this is for you.
