| Every purchase you make is a choice: the kind of agriculture you support, the impact on the environment, and the future of food. Wholegood sources organic produce from small and medium sized farms that care about the soil they grow in as much as the flavour it produces. It's not aesthetically perfect, exteriors can sometimes be blemished and shaped a bit wonky, but this does not compromise flavour. Soft and decadent, our organic figs are a summer-long treat. They are thin skinned, with a pillowy bite that yields to a honeyed, jammy centre. Our figs can be slightly smaller calibre black or green skinned based on the seasonal changes or their country of origin. When optimally ripe, black figs have a more intense syrupy sweetness, whereas green figs offer a milder, more candied honey flavour. Our figs come in packs of 150g which usually includes 3 large figs or 4 slightly smaller ones. Our packaging reflects our commitment to the planet. Our punnets are recyclable cardboard, and our flowrap is home compostable. Good for you, good for the planet. |

Preparation and Usage
| Ripe figs are a luxurious treat on their own. However, they do pair really well with cheese and herbs. We recommend searing figs on a hot pan with a dash of honey, a smashed glove of garlic and a fresh rosemary sprig. Once the figs are cooked and caramelising, place them onto a plate with some brie or whipped cheese or salted creme fraiche for a treat to remember. |
