Sourced primarily from Peru from our main growers; La Grama, who were founded in 2006 as Peru’s first exporter of organic ginger. La Grama’s focus on soil health and eco-friendly practices aligns perfectly with Wholegood’s commitment to responsible sourcing and environmental stewardship.
Our packaging reflects our commitment to the planet. Our netting is plastic free & home compostable - made with Beechwood recovered from the thinning of European FSC or PEFC certified forestry.

Preparation and Usage
Ginger forms the foundational base for several cuisines across Mainland and Eastern Asia. We love enjoying its spicy kick in some warming ginger tea which acts as a great digestive detoxifier. Peel and julienne a knob of your ginger into thin matchsticks. Boil in 3 cups for 2-3 minutes and let cool. Once brought down to sipping temperature, squeeze in a full lemon or citrus of your choice (our unwaxed limes, lemons or clementines would work great here) and stir in some honey as per taste preference.
