It's not aesthetically perfect, exteriors can sometimes be blemished and shaped a bit wonky, but this does not compromise flavour.

Our rainbow carrots are a type of heritage variety that shines through its natural colours across hues of pale whites, yellows, reds, browns and purples. These rainbow colours represent their heirloom nature from before they were selectively bred to be orange as an homage to the Dutch struggle for independence led by William of Orange. The colour of our carrots may vary depending on seasonality. These tender-crisp, sweet and earthy carrots will arrive ready to be eaten after a light wash.

Due to the heritage or heirloom quality of these carrots, we recommend them to be enjoyed raw with minimal preparation as crudites with a hung yoghurt dip. However, their rich nutritional value makes them equally popular added into mixed salads. Toss in grated carrots, sweet corn kernels, sliced cherry tomatoes (ours are vine ripened!) and some chopped Batavia lettuce with some lime juice and light mayo for a sweet and crispy salad. Add salt to taste.
