Our Seville Oranges come from Spain from December to March.
Our netting is now plastic free & Home compostable, made with Beechwood recovered from the thinning of European FSC or PEFC certified forestry.
Ave Maria have developed quite a following for their famous brand (first groves laid out 1867). Keeping up with the traditions currently there are three women who consider it a privilege to look after all of the details of this precious orchard and its rich natural heritage.
At Wholegood, we focus on the very finest seasonal produce, sourcing from the UK wherever possible. Our first priority however is to always be associated with 'best in class' produce. Fortunately we're also well connected with the most forward-thinking growers and farming communities in Italy, Holland and Spain. Incidently we never air-freight because we believe we have a responsibility to the wider environment.

Lots of brown marks on the oranges, unusual for this brand so very disappointed
Very sour taste
Makes an excellent marmalade
Lots of pips and very tart. The compostable packaging is a nice touch. The fruit make a delicious golden marmalade when mixed with some brown sugar.
only for marmalade
They are more like a lemon- grapefruit taste. Thousands of pits.
The skin is too thick, there is not much to eat. Taste bitter and sour.
I bought for marmalade on offer
I bought wonderful Spanish Seville oranges from Waitrose in February and made marmalade. I thought these were the same and as they were on offer at Ocado 1.5 kg bought to make more marmalade . These are Italian oranges not like the Ocado photograph at all - many are so small theyre like walnuts and almost as hard. A few nice ones only and one large completely mouldy orange . Ive requested a refund but no response yet. Im now starting to not trust Ocado purchases. Ive taken a photo will post on Twitter to see if Ocado respond to that.
