Preparation and Usage
Fresh tomatoes are the key ingredient to a great salsa. Dice 3-4 tomatoes, about 10g of coriander (with their stalks), along with 2 onions (our brown onions are mild, crunchy and juicy – a perfect choice here) and mix with a good squeeze of a lime (we have some wonderful lemons and limes), 2 finely crushed ears of garlic, a pinch of crushed black pepper and sprinkling of sea salt. And you have yourself a quick salsa. You can add chopped jalapeno peppers if you can take the heat or try fire roasting your tomatoes for an added smoky taste. All you need next are some salted nachos to use for scooping up all the chunky goodness.
