I am a bourbon drinker, and was not sent a free bottle. This is one of the best value for money bourbons you can get. Complex flavour profile, high abv so goes a long way. And gives most top shelf bottles a good run for their money. Lower on rye I guess, so less of that sometimes challenging pepper notes. The non-filtered version at airports only in the uk is better, but this is still a cracker.

Has anyone bought this bourbon?
I was considering buying this bourbon but, after skimming through 7 pages of Ocado reviews, 100% of which were from people given free bottles - many not spirits drinkers, some unable to spell properly - I've decided against it. Has anyone ever bought this? I'd like to hear from a bourbon drinker. Why is Ocado sending samples to people who don't drink spirits?
Where am I, what day is it?!
I was sent a bottle of this to review. Warning, this stuff will blow your head off, you wouldnt want more than a couple if you were hoping to function like an adult the next day! I like a bourbon and have drank the standard Wild Turkey in the past and used to be partial to a JD but this is another level strong. Having said that it has a good smoky flavour and is smooth tasting so doesnt rip your throat to shreds going down. Its a good quality bourbon but definitely a slow sipper, dont make your Old Fashioneds or Manhattans with it, enjoy it on its own.

Well\-balanaced despite the high ABV
I’m writing this review after having received a free bottle from Ocado. The bourbon has a pleasant, mellow, vanilla scent. It’s well-balanced, with a nice peppery spice to the aftertaste. The high ABV isn’t overpowering, but the taste still leaves you in no doubt that it’s a strong bourbon. Would recommend as something a little bit differrent.
