Our wine is inspired by the coast that surrounds us, so close to the ocean that our vines are often misted with sea spray. Tasting Notes
Bright and crisp with notes of citrus, underpinned by herbs and blackcurrant. The palate is full and lively with juicy fruit characters that is balanced with a long, crisp mineral finish
History
Parcels of Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough were selected to blend this wine. When the fruit was at optimal ripeness, the fruit was harvested, de-stemmed and gently pressed. The clear juice then underwent a long cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks, using a range of specially selected yeasts to enhance varietal characters and structure.
Regional Information
A splash of Merlot was added from one of our Hawke's Bay vineyards to give the attractive pink hue. Once blended, the wine was stabilised and gently filtered prior to bottling.

2022
Vinification Details
Vintage 2022 was an exciting classic Marlborough harvest. A warm Spring secured good fruit set throughout the region. Some challenging weather in February was rewarded with clear warm days throughout harvest. The cool crisp nights and warm days in March retained vibrant acidity while allowing flavours to develop fully. A slow and steady ripening resulted in beautifully intense and structured wines.

Lovely Rose

I'm reviewing this product having been given a free sample by Ocado. This was quite crisp, and not sweet. A delicious easy drinking wine with no harshness. I would buy.

Fruity and very drinkable

I am reviewing this because I got a free sample from Ocado. We were pleasantly surprised by this wine it is fruity and pleasant but with a bit more body than a white sauvignon blanc. Doesn't get 5 stars as it doesn't particularly stand out.

not what I expected

I am reviewing this wine as ocado sent me a free sample. I expected it to be light easy drinking with a little sweetness. This rose was too sharp for me. I didn't enjoy it.

A good rose

Im reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. This is a very nice wine. It has the flavour of a Sauvignon Blanc white wine but with the drinkability of a good rose. It is different and I would recommend it to others.
