Very pleased with this pack of good quality fish which contained 5 portions. I bought it on offer for £3.50 and it was good value. Not sure I would want to pay £6 for it though.
Not fit for human consumption- great for cats
On the 'scale' of 1-5...
...I give this a 5, one for each fillet! There was shrinkage in baking but still plenty for 3 adults. Thought the taste was going to be mild, as stated on pack, but added to a curry and was amazed how the flavour of the fish came through really well. Bought on offer at half price so better still :)
Not the best frozen fish
I give this to my dogs with complete, and they enjoy it. I have previously tried it and found it quite bland, as with most frozen fish. It might make a reasonable quick meal if cooked with a sauce, but I shall not be trying it again.
Thought it was the way I cooked it first time around, but again second time I used this it made the sauce really really watery. Would not use again.
It was OK
I microwaved the fish and loads of water came out the fillet was a lot smaller coming out than how it went in. Flavour was OK. It was a healthy dinner but not a memorable one and they won't be asking for it again. The packet suggests making a herb, breadcrumb, Parmesan, garlic and lemon crust on it and baking it in the oven. I was in a rush so didn't try it. The best thing about it us that when you eat pollock you are allowing cod and haddock fish stocks to recover.
