Preparation and Usage
Enjoy with a well chilled glass of Pinot Blanc.
Instructions
All appliances vary, there are guidelines only.; Deep Fry - From Frozen. 4 mins to deep fry - 180ºC.
Pre heat the oil. Remove all packaging. Gently lower Scampi into the hot oil and cook for 4 minutes.; Grill - From Frozen. 12 mins to grill - medium/high heat.
Pre heat the grill and grill pan. Remove all packaging.
Place Scampi onto the base of the grill pan and cook for 12 minutes turning occasionally.; Oven cook - From Frozen. 15 mins to oven bake - 220ºC/Fan 190ºC/Gas Mark 7.
Pre heat the oven and baking tray. Remove all packaging.
Place the Wholetail Scampi onto the baking tray on the top shell of the oven and cook for 15 minutes.

not jumbo not scampi
Too much coating hardly you can find prawns, it is not a whole jumbo scampi it is chopped small bits of prawns with too much coating. We had to throw batter and eat small bits inside. Not buying again
Too much crumb coating - no taste
This was disappointing compared to Whitby's. I bought as it was on half price offer, but even then not worth it. Just an overwhelming amount of crispy crumb coating and precious little taste of langoustine. We can buy packs of prawns fresh and frozen, why can't we buy fresh langoustine at Ocado?
Bits of tail not "wholetail"
The pack I received didn't contain one 'wholetail'. The smallest piece in the pack measured 27mm and the 'wholetail' was an 11mm bit. On average the pieces measure 45mm and contain a small bit like 20mm of tail. The rest is just batter. The batter is tasty, but too thick. Fortunately bought on promotion. All aspects considered even £3.00 is too much to pay.
Quick and fancy aperitif
I bought this to try on offer. I used them to entertain my guests while making dinner. They are meaty, crispy and tasty. They are very easy and quick to bake, and do not require to add any extra oil. I would buy them again.

Good quality scampi in a nice crispy crumb. How big are jumbo scampis meant to be? I find them nice and tasty. Excellent if you buy them half price theyre pretty expensive but Ill buy them again

My daughter loves this. It travels well so I use this often for her lunch box.
