Preparation and Usage

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp Yutaka Barley Miso Paste
5g Yutaka katsuobushi (Bonito flakes)
120g Thinly sliced pork loins
100g Mooli radish
1/2 Carrot
1/4 Leek
Dashi stock: Add 500ml boiling hot water and 5-10g bonito flakes into a saucepan.
Simmer for 1 minute. Turn off the heat, wait until it settles down to the bottom of the saucepan and drain.
Toppings: Cut pork and vegetables into small pieces and fry until cooked.
Mix: Pour dashi stock and toppings into a saucepan and simmer until vegetables are soft. Add miso paste gradually and mix well.
Top with thinly sliced spring onions.

not strong enough
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. A teaspoon is not enough as I almost had to use half the pot to get some flavour. I am also not a big fan of the texture as the paste does not disintegrate fully.
Used in the simplest fashion
A fat teaspoon goes into a mug...drink and enjoy!
Easy to use miso
Decent miso for the price - easy to use and can also be added to give extra flavour to dishes.
Very tasty
I am reviewing this product as I received a free sample from Ocado. I spiced up a boring ham sandwich with a little dash of this and I really enjoyed it. I am going to try on different dishes, but I can definitely recommend this.
