Yutaka Daifuku Mochi Frozen Rice Cakes

Daifuku is traditionally served for celebrations as the name daifuku literally means "great luck". Daifuku is now found in every supermarket and confectionery store with many varieties of fillings in Japan. Yutaka Mochi is made of a soft, chewy, marshmallow-like mochi, filled with sweet red bean paste. This delicious snack can be enjoyed with green tea or barley tea.
