Great, filter needs changing monthly
For those complaining about a fishy smell its likely because the filter isnt being changed when it should. This item needs the filter changed monthly if used regularly! The water itself is great, tastes like bottled water
Plastic taste
Water started tasting like plastic after only 2 weeks if using it..
Odd smell when filtered water boiled
Bought to filter tap water to boil. The kettle started to smell of fish. Replaced the kettle but it still happened whenever I boiled the filtered water. Doesn't happen with bought bottled water. No idea why this would happen but off putting so have stopped using it.
Terrible taste, up until the bitter end
I am used to water filters and mineral water, so the first round of bitter taste is normal. But the taste continued for many fill-ups after, and not too long (less than three weeks), the water started tasting like burned charcoal!! Filter straight in the bin. Terrible, terrible contraption. It's also true that it doesn't fit regular UK fridges, no matter what selves you move (although, not a problem for us, as I prefer room temperature water anyway)
Get it
Since receiving, I have tested every water source and competing filter jugs. I was shocked by the results of brands such as Brita. Zerowater provides exactly what the name implies, zero water. It removes everything. Unfortunately, that means goodness as well. so I sprinkle some Himalayan salt or other minerals to revive it's lost goodness. Tap water has never tasted so good.
Faulty before used
Was excited to get this thinking it would replace all the plastic water bottles, but on filling it started leaking from the plastic dispenser before ever being used. Have requested a refund.
