Overpowering coriander taste
The coriander was all we could taste. Tasted nothing like any katsu dishes we've ever tried. Disappointing to have wasted my money. Was expecting this to be amazing for the price.
makes delicious katsu curry sauce
I add two tablespoons to sautéed onions, garlic, ginger, sweet potatoes, carrots, veg stock and coconut milk. Once everything has cooked nicely, I blitz the mixture with a hand blender into a lovely Katsu curry sauce. Best Katsu curry powder in the market!
Too expensive- nothing special
I stupidly bought this without seeing the minuscule size of the jar. 24g!!! It’s one use only and contains basically the same spices as a standard packet 5 times bigger for a fifth of the price. Don’t fall for it people!
Dear!
Received in return for a review. This comes in a cute but tiny pot. The flavour is fine but, as other reviewers have commented, its no better than standard curry powder and given the high price tag, its not something Ill be buying again.
too expensive
I had this to review. The flavours were good in a curry but no superior than a cheaper brand. I think the company is missing a trick, they should have a label with recommended uses
Tasty, but so expensive
I received this for review. Like other reviewers, I was surprised by how small the jar was the the price. I used it in a vegetable curry and it did taste good (you don't need much to get a full flavour) but it just isn't worth the high price tag.
