There is nothing more comforting than a freshly baked homemade pizza with a golden brown crust and gooey cheesy top. Ingredients
- 400g readymade pizza dough
- 150ml tomato passata
- 1 tsp sea salt flakes
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 50g grated cheddar cheese
- 50g grated mozzarella cheese
- 12 slices spicy pepperoni
- 2 tsp runny honey
- 1 handful fresh basil leaves for serving
Method
Step 1
Preheat the air fryer for 5 mins at 200°C.Step 2
Roll, or stretch, out the pizza dough to fit the basket or tray of your air fryer and carefully set the dough inside.Step 3
Mix together the passata, sea salt, pepper, oregano and dried basil in a bowl until fully incorporated then spoon and spread 2 tbsp of the mixture across the base of the pizza dough.Step 4
Scatter with half the grated cheddar and grated mozzarella, then top with half the pepperoni and air fry for 10 mins at 200°C turning around halfway through to ensure the pizza is evenly cooked and the crust is golden brown and crispy.Step 5
Remove from the air fryer, drizzle with 1 tsp honey, sprinkle with fresh basil, slice and enjoy! Repeat with the remaining dough and toppings.
