Deliciously crisp and moreish, this Asian-inspired Air Fryer Tofu recipe will have you going back for more. Chunky tofu pieces are tossed with sticky honey, ginger, garlic and soy sauce then rolled in crispy panko breadcrumbs for serious crunch. Ingredients
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp runny honey
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 225g firm tofu
- 100g panko breadcrumbs
Method
Step 1
Mix the soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger in a large mixing bowl.Step 2
Add the tofu, toss to fully coat in the marinade and leave to marinate for 15 mins.Step 3
Tip the breadcrumbs into a separate bowl. Toss the tofu chunks in the crumbs making sure they are evenly coated.Step 4
Spread in a single layer over the base of your air fryer basket and cook for 20 mins at 200°C until crispy and golden brown.Step 5
Serve immediately with your favourite dipping sauce.
