
Apple crumble porridge

Ingredients
- 2 organic apples, (peeled)
- 1 handful of coconut flakes, (To serve, toasted)
- 80 g of oats
- 1 handful of granola, (to serve)
- 2 tsp of coconut oil
- 2 tbsp of maple syrup, (plus extra to taste)
- 2 tbsp of sultanas
- 400 ml of almond milk, (plus extra to taste)
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
Method
Step 1
Grate one apple, cube the other. Sauté the apple cubes with half the coconut oil, maple syrup and cinnamon. Remove from the pan and set aside.Step 2
Put the grated apple and sultanas in the pan and soften with the remaining coconut oil, maple syrup and cinnamon. Stir in the oats and milk and cook until thickened. Add more milk if you like it a little looser, and more maple syrup if you like it sweeter.Step 3
Serve topped with the cubed apple, a sprinkling of granola and coconut flakes.
