Bright, uplifting and warming – this Banana, Mango and Turmeric Smoothie is a beautifully balanced blend of sunshine fruits with ginger and turmeric. Ingredients
- 2 cm piece fresh turmeric (or ½ tsp ground turmeric)
- 1 cm piece ginger
- 1 small banana
- 100g frozen mango
- 150ml plain kefir
Method
Step 1
Put the turmeric, ginger, banana (reserve a few slices to garnish, if you like), frozen mango and kefir into a blender with 50ml water.Step 2
Whizz until super smooth, then pour into a glass, pop in a straw and top with a few banana slices, if using.
