
Barbecued Bananas with Peanut Butter Cream

Ingredients
- 250ml whipping cream
- 2 tbsp icing sugar
- 2 tbsp (approx.) smooth peanut butter
- 6 bananas, unpeeled, halved lengthways
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp salted peanuts, crushed
Method
Step 1
Combine the whipping cream, icing sugar and peanut butter in a bowl; whip to soft peaks with an electric whisk. Set aside.Step 2
Brush the cut sides of the bananas with the melted butter. Place, cut-side down, on the barbecue over direct heat and cook for 2-3 mins, until lightly charred.Step 3
To serve, arrange 2 banana halves on each plate and top with a dollop of the cream. Scatter over the crushed peanuts and get scooping.
