A classic Italian recipe that is bound to satisfy all taste buds, this Frutti di Mare is the ultimate seafood dish.Popular along the coast of Italy, our version is made with fresh shrimps and mussels in a beautiful garlic, parsley and olive oil dressing.Perfect on a summer’s evening with a glass of white wine.Buon appetito!

Ingredients

  • 50 ml of bertolli olive oil spray
  • 500 g of shrimps
  • 500 g of mussels
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 350 g of spaghetti
  • 1 handful of parsley

Method

  • Step 1

    Spray the pan with Bertolli Mild & Delicate Olive Oil Spray.
  • Step 2

    Add the mussels with white wine and steam them until they are open.
  • Step 3

    Slice the garlic finely and sauté in oil (Bertolli Mild & Delicate).
  • Step 4

    Take the open mussels out of the shell.
  • Step 5

    Add the shrimps to the frying pan. When the shrimps are almost ready, add the mussels.
  • Step 6

    Boil the spaghetti until it is al dente and mix with the shrimps and mussels.
  • Step 7

    Season with salt and pepper and top with parsley and finish.
