Shake, serve and celebrate with our alcohol-free blood orange kombucha spritz recipe. Kombucha is a great mixer in mocktails, packed with big flavour, gentle effervescence and live cultures. Add a spoonful of bitter blood orange marmalade to a 0%, non-alcoholic spirit then shake with a whole star anise, and top with the kombucha for the ultimate winter warmer mocktail. Ingredients
- 60ml non-alcoholic gin alternative, we used CleanCo
- 2 tsp blood orange marmalade
- 2 star anise
- 4 tbsp satsuma juice, from approx. 2 satsumas, plus a leaf or slice to garnish (optional)
- 250ml kombucha, we used Willy's Sparkling Apple, Kombucha & Apple Cider Vinegar
Method
Step 1
Fill a cocktail shaker, or jar, with ice. Pour over the non-alcoholic gin, add the marmalade and star anise then squeeze, or pour, in the satsuma juice.Step 2
Fit the lid tightly and shake for 30 secs.Step 3
Fill a tumbler with ice, strain over the satsuma mix and top up with kombucha. Garnish with a satsuma leaf or slice to serve.
