
Boxing Day Rolls

For a delicious quick snack, fill part-baked rolls with cooked meat, cheese and anything else to hand (chutney, salad and even a dollop of cranberry sauce) then finish off in the oven.Time and servings

Ingredients
- 9 assorted petit pains
- 4.5 slices of cold roast meat
- 50 g of thinly sliced or grated cheese
- 9 cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 stick of celery, thinly sliced
- 3 spring onions, finely sliced
- 3 tsps of mustard
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200c/Gas6.Step 2
Make a deep cut into each roll and then stuff with your own choice fillings – try ham, cheese and onion, or celery and cheese or turkey, mustard and tomato.Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until crisp.Step 4
Serve with salad leaves, chutneys and pickles.
