
Broccoli and Cauliflower Gratin

Ingredients
- 25 g of plain flour
- 600 g of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 250 g of broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 tsp of dijon mustard
- 250 ml of semi skimmed milk
- 25 g of parmesan, finely grated
- 25 g of flora buttery
- 4 tbsp of hellmann's real mayonnaise
- 50 g of mature cheddar, grated
Method
Step 1
Cook the cauliflower in boiling water for 5-6 minutes, adding the broccoli for the last 3-4 minutes.Step 2
Meanwhile, place the Flora, flour and milk in a saucepan and, stirring continuously, bring to the boil. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened and smooth.Step 3
Stir the mayonnaise, mustard and half the cheeses into the sauce, and season with black pepper.Step 4
Drain the vegetables and place in an ovenproof dish. Pour over the sauce and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.Step 5
Place under a hot grill until golden brown and bubbling.Step 6
Serve with rice or potatoes.
