Ingredients

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp frozen chopped onions
  • 1 tsp frozen chopped garlic
  • 300g light bechamel sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked chilli harissa
  • 60g grated cheddar and mozzarella mix
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan
  • 400g gnocchi
  • 200g sliced kale
  • 2 tbsp (approx.) chopped walnut pieces

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat the grill to medium-high. Add the olive oil to a large pan over medium heat. Fry the frozen chopped onions and garlic for a few mins, until soft. Add the bechamel sauce, then stir in the harissa, most of the cheddar and mozzarella, and half the parmesan.
  • Step 2

    Meanwhile, cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water as per the pack instructions, adding the kale for the final min. Drain, then add to the cheesy sauce; mix well.
  • Step 3

    Spoon into a baking dish, scatter with the remaining cheeses, then sprinkle over the walnut pieces. Grill for a couple of mins, until golden.
