This is a simple pasta dish with delicious flavours. Use this as a base, substituting the chicken for meat, fish or your favourite vegetables and herbs.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp of sea salt
  • 1 jar of seeds of change® mediterranean vegetable sauce
  • 4 sprigs of basil
  • 340 g of penne pasta
  • 240 g of chicken breast
  • 80 g of chorizo, sliced
  • 80 g of parmesan cheese, grated

Method

  • Step 1

    In a large saucepan of boiling, salted water, cook your pasta for 8-10 minutes, drain and reserve.
  • Step 2

    On a high heat in a medium sized frying pan gently sauté the chicken fillets for 1 minute each side until golden brown, add the chorizo and cook for one more minute to allow the oils to be released.
  • Step 3

    Stir in the pasta sauce, bring to the boil and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Step 4

    Fold in the cooked pasta; divide into four warm bowls and top with the cheese and a sprig of Basil for garnish.
