
Chicken Dippers

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp of flour
- 6 tbsp of sunflower oil
- 20 g of parmesan cheese, grated
- 20 g of cheddar cheese, grated
- 4 tbsp of dried breadcrumbs
- 0.5 tsp of paprika
- 0.5 tsp of cayenne pepper, or less, if you prefer
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 chicken breasts, around 250g in total, cut into 1cm strips
Method
Step 1
Mix together the cheeses, breadcrumbs, paprika, cayenne pepper and seasoning, and place in a shallow dishStep 2
Put the beaten egg in another dish and the flour in a thirdStep 3
Dip each chicken strip first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat in the breadcrumb mixture.Step 4
Pour the oil into a frying pan over a medium heat.Step 5
Fry the chicken dippers in batches, taking care not to overfill the pan, and sauté for about 2 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through - drain on absorbent kitchen paper and serve.
