
Chilli Chocolate Truffles

These are simple to make and ideal to serve with after-dinner coffee.Time and servings

Ingredients
- 1 tsp of chilli powder, for dusting
- 250 ml of double cream
- 2 pinches of sea salt
- 250 g of 70% cocoa chocolate, finely chopped
- 50 g of unsalted butter
- 50 g of cocoa powder, for dusting
Method
Step 1
Heat the cream, butter and salt in a pan. Remove from heat before it boils.Step 2
Pour in the chocolate and stir to melt.Step 3
Leave to cool and refrigerate overnight.Step 4
When solid, scoop out the truffles with a melon baller.Step 5
Mix the cocoa and chilli powder and lightly roll each one in the chilli cocoa powder mix.
