It’s an ultra-simple French patisserie-inspired recipe made using Picard’s microwaveable chocolate fondant and decorated with whipped cream and juicy berries. Ready in less than 10 minutes, it’s an ideal quick dinner party dessert or last-minute teatime treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 picard chocolate fondant
  • 500 ml of double cream
  • 25 g of icing sugar
  • 150 g of picard frozen organic raspberries, defrosted
  • 150 g of picard frozen organic wild blueberries, defrosted
  • 1 tsp of cocoa powder, to serve

Method

  • Step 1

    Warm the chocolate fondant in the microwave according to the pack instructions.
  • Step 2

    In a large mixing bowl using electric beaters (or using a standing mixer) whip the cream and sugar together until stiff peaks form.
  • Step 3

    Transfer the whipped cream to a piping bag or use a large spoon to decorate the top of the fondant with the cream, leaving an open “well” in the middle.
  • Step 4

    Arrange the berries in the open space and dust the cocoa powder over the top. Slice and serve.
