Combining the wholesome goodness of Weetabix with a little Easter chocolate fun, this quick and easy recipe takes just 15 mins to make. A sweet treat that can be prepared the day before eating, the Greek-style yoghurt with cocoa and honey provides a wonderful creamy topping that the kids will love stirring and spreading. Decorate with brightly coloured Mini Eggs or your favourite Easter chocolate for the ultimate decadent Easter breakfast or afternoon snack. If mini eggs aren't available, feel free to use any chocolate, like smarties or maltesers.

Ingredients

  • 1 handful of chocolate eggs, roughly chopped, plus extra to decorate
  • 2 weetabix
  • 125 ml of milk
  • 8 tbsp of greek-style yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp of cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp of honey

Method

  • Step 1

    Crumble the Weetabix into a bowl. Add the milk then mix together and pat down with a spoon.
  • Step 2

    Add the cocoa powder and honey to the yoghurt and stir.
  • Step 3

    Spoon the yoghurt mixture onto the Weetabix and smooth the surface using a spoon.
  • Step 4

    Sprinkle on the chopped chocolate eggs and cover. Put in the fridge to set overnight.
  • Step 5

    The following day, remove the Overnight Weetabix from the fridge. Decorate with the Mini Eggs before serving.
