
Chocolate Pretzel Reindeers

This simple and supercute Chocolate Pretzel Reindeers idea, from OcadoLife recipe editor Lauren Hoffman, is fun for families to make together – just note that you’ll need to allow for about 30 mins of setting time in the fridge. Munch on them with a Christmas movie, or pop into ribbon-tied bags to give as gifts or use as stocking fillers. When you’ve counted out the red M&Ms for your reindeer’s noses, use the rest to stud home-made cookies or have them as a baker’s treat! Time and servings

Ingredients
- 100g milk chocolate
- 40 pretzels
- 2 (360g) packs Mini M&Ms
- 50g white decorating icing
Method
Step 1
Melt the milk chocolate in the microwave for 30 secs.Step 2
Arrange 20 of the pretzels on a tray lined with a sheet of baking paper. Break another 20 pretzels in half and set to one side for the antlers. Sift out 20 red sweets from the Mini M&Ms for the reindeer noses.Step 3
Using a teaspoon, dollop melted chocolate into the middle of each pretzel. Add a red M&M nose, then fix the antlers – half a broken pretzel on each side. Chill for 15 mins or until set.Step 4
Add 2 small circles of white chocolate decorating icing onto each reindeer for eyes, followed by a dot more of the melted chocolate for the pupils. Chill for 10 mins until set.
