
Churros with Dark Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 green and black’s 70% organic dark chocolate, grated
- 170 g of brindisa frozen churros
- 2 tsp of cornflour
- 700 ml of ocado whole milk
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to the hottest it will go, approx 260°C/240°C fan/gas 9. Line a baking sheet with greaseproof paper.Step 2
Mix the cornflour with a little of the milk and place the rest of the milk in a saucepan.Step 3
Put the pan on a medium heat and bring just to the point where it starts steaming.Step 4
Remove from the heat and whisk in the cornflour and grated chocolate.Step 5
Keep stirring until the chocolate has all melted and the sauce has thickened. You may need to pop it briefly back onto a very low heat for this to happen.Step 6
Place the churros onto the lined baking tray and then into the oven for 3 mins, until the churros are sizzling.Step 7
Decant the hot chocolate into cups and serve with the churros alongside for dunking.
