
Crispy Curly Kale

Kale has been getting a lot of hype recently in the health and nutrition world and has earned the nickname "the queen of greens". Packed with powerful antioxidants, vitamin A and vitamin C, kale is also filled with fibre.Lisa's Tip: Keep watch over the chips whilst they are in the oven and make sure they do not burn.Time and servings

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 sprinkle of onion salad crispies
- 200 g of curly kale, washed
- 1 tsp of sugar
- 1 sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190C.Step 2
Line a large baking tray with the parchment paper.Step 3
Place the curly kale on the baking tray and discard any hard stalks.Step 4
Drizzle with olive oil and then lightly massage into the kale leaves.Step 5
Season with sea salt and black pepper.Step 6
Sprinkle with sugar.Step 7
Bake in the oven for 18 minutes, stirring every 4-5 minutes.Step 8
When the leaves have gone crisp remove from the oven.Step 9
Place in a serving bowl and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and onion salad crispies. Enjoy!
