Ingredients

7 total
  • 1 M&S cucumber
  • ½ M&S carrot
  • 60g M&S mature cheddar, cut into cubes
  • 8 M&S cherry tomatoes
  • 9 M&S pimento Greek olives
  • 8 M&S blueberries
  • 16 M&S seedless mixed grapes

Method

6 steps
  1. Step 1

Cut a long strip lengthways from the bottom of the cucumber so it sits flat on a tray. Cut this strip into 4 pieces, then cut triangles along the shortest edge of each piece to look like claws.

  2. Step 2

On the remaining large piece of cucumber, slice from the top about one-third of the way along the length. Gently prise open using the handle of a wooden spoon to form the crocodile’s mouth, then cut zig-zag triangles along the top and bottom of the opening for teeth.

  3. Step 3

Lay the cucumber on a serving tray, placing the 4 feet underneath and the main body flat on top.

  4. Step 4

Cut a wide strip of carrot for the tongue and push it inside the mouth.

  5. Step 5

Thread the cheddar, cherry tomatoes and olives in threes onto cocktail sticks, reserving 1 olive for the eyes. Thread the blueberries and grapes in threes onto separate cocktail sticks. Push all the sticks into the top of the crocodile’s back.

  6. Step 6

Slice the reserved olive into 2 eye-shaped discs, pop each onto a cocktail stick and push into the cucumber to make the eyes, then serve.
