Ingredients
- 500 g of wholegrain flour, plus around 3 tbsp for dusting
- 2 tsp of cream of tartar
- 0.5 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of doves farm bicarbonate of soda
- 450 ml of milk
Method
Step 1
Mix together the flour, salt, cream of tartar and bicarbonate of soda.Step 2
Add just enough milk to mix a soft, slightly sticky, dough. Shape the dough into a ball, dusting with a little extra flour if necessary.Step 3
Place the dough on an oiled baking tray.Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 180C/160 Fan/Gas 4 for 35-40 minutes.
