This Dumpling Lasagne is our favourite new one pot dish. The warming, fragrant filling steams beautifully for a soup dumpling-style serve. We’ve made this to share, but why not try making individual pots for single serves? Top with your favourite chilli oil and dig in.

Ingredients
- 500g pork mince
- 3 leaves Chinese leaf, finely chopped
- 6 salad onions, white and green parts chopped separately
- 3 garlic cloves, grated
- 4cm piece ginger, grated
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 4 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing rice wine
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 large pinch MSG
- 1 tsp sunflower oil
- 21 gyoza wrappers, defrosted
- 5 tbsp chilli crunch
- 1 tbsp black toasted sesame seeds, to sprinkle
Method
Step 1
Tip the mince into a large mixing bowl then add the Chinese leaf, white parts of the salad onion, garlic and ginger.Step 2
Pour over the oyster sauce, soy sauce, rice wine, sesame oil and then add the pepper and MSG. Mix until well combined and smooth.Step 3
Lightly oil a heatproof baking dish. Spread over ¼ of the meat mixture then top with 5 gyoza wrappers, overlapping slightly then covering the centre with the final wrapper. Repeat with the remaining mince and wrappers to make 4 layers.Step 4
Set the dish on a steamer inside a deep pan partially filled with boiling water. Cover with a lid and steam for 20 mins, until the pork has cooked through.Step 5
Carefully remove the dish then sprinkle with the reserved green parts of the salad onion, sesame seeds and spoon over chilli sauce to serve.
