This combination of dried fruit and corn flakes all held together with sweetened condensed milk is magic to the taste buds. Why not coat the base with melted white, milk or dark chocolate for extra indulgence!

Ingredients

  • 100 g of sultanas
  • 250 g of corn flakes
  • 125 g of dried apricots, chopped
  • 100 g of raisins
  • 397 g of condensed milk

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 300°f, gas mark 2, 150°C
  • Step 2

    Line two large baking trays with parchment paper.
  • Step 3

    In a large mixing bowl add the cornflakes.
  • Step 4

    Add the chopped apricots, sultanas and raisins.
  • Step 5

    Pour over the condensed milk, using a wooden spoon carefully ensure that the corn flakes are coated with the condensed milk.
  • Step 6

    Fill your ice cream scoop (preferably a ice cream scoop with a release mechanism) with mixture then place on the lined baking tray.
  • Step 7

    Bake in the pre-heated oven for 12-13 minutes, make sure you keep an eye on them, so they do not burn.
  • Step 8

    Remove from the oven, leave to cool on the tray then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
