The ideal digestif to round off a celebratory meal with friends or family – when you’re too stuffed to eat another bite – this Fruit Cake Cocktail from bartender Ryan Sheehan, co-owner of London’s Lowcountry bar, is like pud in a mug. Ingredients
- 35ml bourbon whiskey
- 25ml fino sherry
- 5ml hazelnut liqueur
- 1 generous swirl squirty cream
- 1 drizzle salted caramel sauce
Method
Step 1
Pour the bourbon, sherry and hazelnut liqueur into a mug or heatproof glass.Step 2
Add 100ml boiled water, leaving 1 cm space at the rim.Step 3
Top with a good swirl of squirty cream; finish with a drizzle of salted caramel sauce.
